What To Do In The Friend Zone?

Image
Hello Everyone! I have been working on my endurance for the past year. I used to run on the treadmill or roll on the elliptical when I was younger. Due to my back problems, I do miles of walking each day that takes time to accomplish. I just came in from working on walking 8.32 miles today and 6.39 miles yesterday. Sometimes, I listen to YouTube videos. Other times, I will answer questions that were requested by others on Quora while I am walking. Here is an interesting question to share here as well as my response below. POSED QUESTION: "What does it mean “he just want to be friends and nothing more”?" MY RESPONSE: "I believe that when a love interest just wants to be friends, they don’t want to completely lose you. The person sees something in you worth salvaging as a friend. However, they keep searching for key qualities in a new partner. Apparently, they didn’t find those key qualities in you. Armed with this knowledge, you can either choose to be a frie

Just Released- Podcast Episode #21- What Happens After Meeting The Enemy? On YouTube & Podcast Platforms!

Image
Hello Everyone! I opted to discuss this Tedx Talk that I watched awhile ago on YouTube. Yes, my topics swing wildly from side to side. I do not like to look at only one angle ever. I am very open minded and willing to evolve with my thought process if it seems to be logical in nature. I reviewed a YouTube video entitled, "Meeting The Enemy" that was presented by filmmaker Cassie Jaye. She walked into a project with one line of thinking and walked out totally evolved. Instead of hinting on my position, I will leave it to you to take a listen. This episode can be found on the podcast platform of your choice as well as YouTube. Episode #21: What Happens After Meeting The Enemy? On YouTube: https://youtu.be/nuSqrJlleNc This is the spot, if you heard the podcast episode, to share your thoughts on the topic. I just ask for people to be respectful of the differing opinions of others. I will never fear tackling a topic. I wish the same for you all as well. I wish y

Just Released! *NEWLY EDITED!!!* Episode #19 Part A and Episode #20 Part B- The Joys Of No Children!

Hello Everyone! I have been trying to fix the bad audio, for the past few weeks, on my latest podcast interview. Melissa and I had special guests Vanessa and Juana. Juana called in from Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. Meanwhile, Vanessa called in from Las Vegas, Nevada. I have worked with both of the ladies. I introduced them both over the phone to Melissa. I last worked with Vanessa when I was an apprentice and she was a new journeywoman. I figured I would provide some form of anonymity due to the particular subject matter. I was thrilled to speak with both ladies along with my co-host Melissa about the perspective of a woman choosing to not have children. The ladies have the common thread of choosing, at a young age, to not have children. Juana was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. I have empathy for Juana since she had to fight the cultural norms for women. I admire her strength and determination to stick by her choice. Vanessa came from a smaller family. Theref

Can You Tell Me You Are French Without Telling Me You're French?

Hello Everyone! I received a request for me to respond to a question on Quora. I took the request as a way to be sarcastic and poke fun at both the French and Americans from the United States. I often feel like I have serious questions to post. Let's change it up with a little humor for your Tuesday morning. Here is the question and my quip down below. POSED QUESTION: "Can you tell me you're French without telling me you're French?" MY RESPONSE: "What is this disgusting thing!? It is a potato that was cooking in a bath of grease! After being cooked, they dip them in either ketchup or some other sauce. The nerve of those Americans to name anything disgusting like that after us!!! :P" https://www.quora.com/Can-you-tell-me-youre-French-without-telling-me-youre-French/answer/Leslie-Jasper-3?prompt_topic_bio=1 For anyone who hasn't figured out what I am referring to, I will give a clue. I realize that people from out of the United States read

Do You Get Nervous On A Date?

Image
Hello Everyone! How many people get nervous when they go on dates? Till this day, I still get nervous when I go on dates. I allow the process of meeting a new person to intimidate me. I wish I knew why that was for me. I saw this question and it reminds me of myself. I am sad for the young person that they fear of being alone forever. A person will only be alone forever if they choose to not put themselves out there. I wish I was more selective when I was younger and bypassed some folks who came my way. However, we learn lessons from all people that we crosses paths with in life. Here is a question and my response on being nervous about dating below. POSED QUESTION: "I am 24 and get nervous when on dates with women. Not having good conversation leads the women to reject me and not want a second date. How can I improve my conversation skills or am I forever alone?" MY RESPONSE: "I used to get extremely nervous on dates when I was your age. Practice, with d

A Memorial For Our Beloved Four Legged Friend

Image
Hello Everyone! I am writing about the passing of one of my 4-legged friends. Dutch and Daisy spent many moments together. Her name is Dutch and she was turning 14-years old next month. My closest friend in the world Melissa lost her best friend today. It was super sad to watch my friend make the decision to have her put down peacefully. Dutch had the usual aging issues with bad hips and having a hard time finding a comfortable place to rest. Dutch started having seizures last week. She was taken to the vet to help her stop the seizures. The medicine didn't stop the seizures but made them less intense. Dutch was having a few seizures per day. As the weekend progresses, the seizures became more frequent and intense. She was delirious and slamming into walls and very much incoherent. By today, she was walking in a circle repeatedly, consistently foaming at the mouth, and having constant seizures while walking in a circle. This Dutch was far from the lively dog that
